Get into the holiday spirit virtually with the Laurel Historical Society Thursday, December 10 at 7 p.m. How did the early Victorians celebrate Christmas? How did today’s Christmas cards, decorations, trees, food and music come to be? Early Victorian Christmas History and Traditions will explore Christmas customs of the early Victorian period, and how some traditions have shaped our modern celebrations. Join LHS Executive Director Ann Bennett as she explores five of the traditions: Gift Giving, Christmas Cards, Trees, Foods and Feasting, and Christmas in Song and Verse during the FREE one hour webinar.
