Wednesday, Aug. 26, from 9 to 10:30 a.m.
Howard Community College will hold a virtual information session for employers interested in construction management apprenticeship opportunities with the college. Apprenticeships allow employers to grow their workforce by enhancing employee skills or hiring new apprentices to meet industry needs.
The construction management apprenticeship supports employers in need of managers skilled in planning, coordinating, budgeting and supervising construction projects. The information session will include an overview of the college’s apprenticeship programs as well as a representative from the Maryland Department of Labor to answer questions about apprenticeship incentives and tax benefits.
