Howard Community College will hold a virtual information session for employers interested in information technology apprenticeship opportunities with the college. Apprenticeships allow employers to grow their workforce by enhancing employee skills or hiring new apprentices to meet industry needs.
The information technology apprenticeship supports employers in need of IT field support specialists, network field support specialists or information systems security specialists, including those who need security clearances. The information session will include an overview of the college’s apprenticeship programs as well as a representative from the Maryland Department of Labor to answer questions about apprenticeship incentives and tax benefits.
