Behavioral Health Task Force Makes Recommendations

Community Foundation Grants $245,300 to Nonprofits
The Community Foundation of Howard County, which raises, manages and distributes funds to support nonprofit organizations, gave $245,300 in grants to 36 nonprofits in Howard County. Grants come from the foundation’s community grants program, which combines operational and project requests into one funding cycle.

During the past year, as your newly-elected councilman from District 4, I’m proud to say that we have made some progress in attracting greater economic opportunities to western Anne Arundel County. Progress can be measured by the improving retail and services in the area, as well as future growth plans.
