In celebration of the recent holiday, Columbia-based communications agency ADG Creative released a humorous Valentine’s Day music video that pays homage to the tucked-away Columbia Gateway business community where its offices are located. “Love for the Gateway,” styled like a ’90s hip-hop video, calls out quirky and memorable elements of Columbia Gateway Drive that Howard County locals can appreciate.

As a follow-up to its last year’s “We Love Maryland” video, ADG sought to localize even more this year in the hopes of creating some good cheer and community pride for the thousands of professionals who work at Gateway. The video makes inside jokes and references to such things as the Gateway geese, nearby restaurants and joggers running the “loop.”

The video also features special guest and local Twitter superstar Col. Gateway, the fictional “patron saint” of Columbia Gateway Drive, a reference stemming from the large “Col Gateway” street signs located on Route 175 in Columbia.

The concept, song and video all were produced by ADG Creative. View the video at http://youtu.be/k59nbIDyvKs.
