The Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory (APL), in Laurel, Maryland, has named Elizabeth Egan – formerly the lab’s environmental manager – as its first full-time sustainability manager in the Lab’s Business, Construction and Facilities Department. She will implement its sustainability plan and contribute to various working groups and committees.
